At Zupt we recognize that all injuries are preventable. The accountability for achieving these objectives is vested at the appropriate level of Supervisor and Regional Managers. To achieve excellence in our business and work environment, the commitment and co-operation of all management, staff, contractors and visitors is essential. Our HSE policy applies to all employees, consultants, contractors, and associates of Zupt, LLC.

Zupt, LLC has not suffered a Time Loss accident of any sort during the past five years. Prior to this time none of the company’s associates or contractors have suffered a Time Loss Accident.

Zupt also fully supports and complies with the Code of Practice of the IAGC and supports the Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy code.

• Zupt, while working with our clients will seek to set a clear leadership example in promoting safe working practices and safety awareness.

• We will seek, by all reasonable means, to safeguard the health and safety of all personnel engaged, whether directly employed or not and to promote their individual physical and mental well-being through the application of the highest standards of occupational health and safety.

• Zupt, LLC will provide adequate resources and contingency planning to ensure the welfare of all their personnel. Where personnel are deployed on international field assignments Zupt will make adequate provisions for emergency medical evacuation and treatment through our clients.

• Zupt, LLC will provide all personnel engaged with adequate Health and Safety training and guidance for the area and environment in which they will be working. Personnel assigned or proposed for international field assignments will be provided with the latest edition of the appropriate IAGC Safety Manuals.

Inertial survey is the safest seismic survey method of all. Not only for the surveyor (less cutting) but also for the drillers, juggies, and shooters coming after them, since they will follow the safest path through the terrain or forest.

Zupt, LLC operates a STRICT POLICY against drug and alcohol abuse and will co-operate with both CLIENT COMPANIES and CONTRACTORS in deterring and combating such abuse.

Zupt, LLC, will co-operate with and participate in Safety Audits, Assessments or Exercises initiated by CLIENT COMPANIES and/or CONTRACTORS.
 

Our Environmental Policy

Zupt, LLC is dedicated to maintaining the status of the environment in which it works. We will ensure that all our current and future activities are reviewed for their possible impact on the environment and will put in place systems found to be cost beneficial in mitigating or totally removing this environmental impact.

We are committed to:

• Minimizing the creation of waste and, wherever possible, re-cycling materials

• Disposing of all waste through safe and responsible methods

• Minimizing the health, safety and environmental risks to our workforce and the communities in which Zupt undertakes operations

• Taking responsibility for any harm caused to the environment by making every effort, through our clients, to restore and reinstate any damage caused

• Disclosing to employees and the public incidents relating to operations which cause environmental harm or pose health and safety hazards
