In-Air Monopile installation

Zupt’s contactless VertiCAM system determines the verticality of monopiles as a pile is lowered into place in the gripper, during pile self-penetration, and during the pile installation. Pile verticality is monitored throughout the installation process in real-time. The VertiCAM in-air monopile installation solution combines LiDAR, Inertial, and a Camera sensor package for a redundant solution with highly accurate measurements at the offset to the structure of up to 50 meters. The solution allows for efficient monopile installation without the cost and safety concerns of physically mounted bracketry and sensors.
